Jennifer Garner Shares Her Intense Workout That Will Turn 'A Mum Back Into Action Lady’

Motherhood is hard work, just ask Jennifer Garner.

The Hollywood actress has taken to Instagram to share her go-to workout routine and it’s pretty impressive, to say the least.

Dubbed the “The Recipe For Turning a Mum Back Into Action Lady,” it includes “50 cups of coffee, 1.5 hours of “stunt team” training followed by 3 minutes of cryotherapy. Yup.

“Good luck everybody!” she captioned the clip, which shows her doing a variety of high-intensity cardio, trampoline and kickboxing workouts to the pump-up track Canned Heat by Jamiroquai.

While the mum-of-three didn’t specify exactly why she’s kicking her fitness up a gear, it’s suspected it’s for her starring gig in the action film Peppermint.

The movie, which is currently in pre-production, has been likened to a female-led John Wick and is centred around a mother who seeks revenge after her family is gunned down in a drive-by shooting. 

But this isn’t the first time Garner has committed to whipping herself into shape for a role. The 45-year-old kicked serious butt in the superhero flick Daredevil, it’s 2005 spinoff Elektra and the long-running thriller TV series Alias.

“Her work ethic is just incredible,” her trainer Valerie Walter told InStyle.
