Liquid highlighters are officially having a moment. First came Rihanna's shimmering Fenty Beauty Body Lava, and soon, we'll be able to slather ourselves in a liquid body highlighter from Huda Beauty. Chrissy Teigen just teased a new Becca collab that looks suspiciously glittery. And now, Kat Von D is getting in on the action with a new range of liquid highlighters that launch this summer.
On Tuesday, Kat Von D Beauty announced on Instagram it would be updating its Metal Crush collection — which already includes highlighter and eye shadow palettes — to include new Metal Crush Liquid Highlighters. The highlighter will come in four shades; GoldSkool, Roseshock, Gammaray, and Helix, and it looks to be packaged like a pen — all the better for a convenient glitter-to-cheekbone delivery system. Fans will recognize GoldSkool from the liquid gold lipstick she launched as part of her 10th Anniversary Collection. Between the new liquid highlighters, eye shadow, and GoldSkool lipstick, get ready to celebrate Summer 2018 with all gold everything.

In addition to the highlighters, the brand also teased Metal Crush highlighter singles. The highlighters will hit Sephora.com and katvondbeauty.com on July 13, and a week later will be available in North American Sephora locations. International fans will have to wait another month or so for a "late summer" international release.
Each time Kat Von D comes out with a new release, fans find more and more creative ways to use her products. In April, it was a Halley's Comet–inspired eye look. In May, it was a rainbow combination of mascara, brow paint, and eyeshadow. With a month to prepare, we can't wait to see what kind of all-glitter looks her fans will pull off with Metal Crush highlighters.
