Aerin is introducing its first line of amenities. In an exclusive partnership with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the brand is launching Coral Palm, a collection of six skin-care and body products at the Rosewood Bermuda resort in May.The launch follows the reopening of the resort, which closed in January for a $25 million renovation.“Both Aerin and Rosewood are luxury lifestyle brands,” said Aerin Lauder, founder of her namesake brand. “What’s fun about the Aerin brand is that it’s very much inspired by travel, destinations and storytelling.”For the inspiration behind Coral Palm scent, Aerin looked to Palm Beach, Fla., where she has a brick-and-mortar store and where her family frequently vacations. The scent is meant to be tropical, warm and inviting, and Lauder thought it would be a good fit for vacationers at the Bermuda resort. The products consist of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body cream, a body soap bar and a facial soap bar. The Coral Palm fragrance notes include citrus, bergamot, freesia petals and dewy greens. In addition to offering the amenities in hotel rooms, the brand is offering an assortment of its beauty products and accessories at the Bermuda resort’s gift shop. The hotel is also including Aerin fragrances in its “fragrance butler program,” where guests can request certain scents to be brought to their rooms for them to experience.“We decided to introduce the first Aerin amenity line at Rosewood Bermuda as the property was undergoing a full renovation and we sought a modern and sophisticated amenity line to complement the new look and feel of the resort,” said Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “Aerin embodies the spirit of Rosewood Bermuda and has a deep love for the island as she honey-mooned there, so there was an authentic connection from the beginning on a property level as well.”Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has 22 global properties, including The Carlyle in New York. Aerin has plans to expand its amenities collection to other Rosewood locations later.“When you experience a hotel and you go into the bathroom and see the beautiful products, it’s a memory that stays with you,” she said. “I would love to be a part of that.”
