Lockdown: Expert on how to look after your mental health
You have probably heard of The Law of Attraction, but the process that really works is the Law of Vibration. Put simply, the Law of Vibration is the primary law, and the secondary is the Law of Attraction. You can manifest all you want, but you need to take control of your health, life, relationships, and everything else before you reap success. Express.co.uk spoke to the experts on how to master the law of attraction.
What is the Law of Vibration?
Life coach Angela Cox said: “Many are aware of the Law of Attraction thanks to the viral film & book, The Secret.
“It is in fact the Law of Vibration that underpins this and provides us with the ability to attract the things we want.
“Everything we see, hear and touch is a representation of energy vibrating at a frequency within magnetic fields around us. This includes the human body and all of the molecules and cells within it.
“Our subconscious mind tends to control our energy frequency the majority of the time but importantly, we have the capability to intervene, take control, and raise the frequency of our vibration purposefully.
“This can change the way we think and feel, moving us out of ’auto pilot mode’ and into focussed attraction increased happiness, fulfilment and the things we desire.”

How do I use the Law of Vibration?
Angela explained: “The Law of Vibration says you get that on which you focus, and if you are worrying about finances, complaining about being overweight or fearing you won’t progress at work, the energy vibration will be fixed in the negative field and you will simply attract more of things you are focussed on, and very likely, lots of ’mood hoover’ type people who will be drawn towards your negative energy like magnets.”
The more negative you are about yourself and your life, the more negative people and scenarios you will attract.
It’s an endless cycle. The more negative people in your life, the lower your energy will become and so on.
Improving your vibrational energy is simple. All you have to do is swap negative thoughts out for positive ones.
Angela said: “If you can interrupt the frequency and plant positive thoughts into your magnetic field, you create a higher vibration and will begin to attract the things you desire, feeling more optimistic and positive as a result.”
How do I think positively?
When you feel really low about a situation, it is easy to spiral and get stuck in a pit.
Thinking positively is difficult when you are accustomed to negative thinking.
Angela said: “One of the easiest ways to do this is to create strong visual movies in your mind of how you want to think and feel, how you want to show up and what you would like to achieve.
“Imagine planting these movies on your timeline, tomorrow, next week, next month, so you create vibrations in your future energy field.
“Keep playing these mini movies over in your mind so you operate in high-vibe regularly.
“Notice how this impacts the way you feel and how you become a magnet for the things you want and for other high-vibe people too.”

Eating a high vibrational diet
You truly are what you eat. Have you ever eaten a meal and suddenly had a spring on your step?
Food has the power to raise or lower our vibrational energy.
Nutritionist and author of The Best Possible You, Hannah Richards, told us all about vibrational nutrition.
She said: “You know the times that you have walked into a party or a social gathering and you naturally gravitate towards a person– that’s Energy!
“Granted you cant see it, touch it or package it up but you can feel it and that is the magic.
“When you are in touch with yourself, when you are present in your life and display a intuitiveness, you have what may be referred to as a higher vibration.
“People who have a high vibration are the people you are most likely to want to hang around as they empower you to be your best self. They are the inspiration to raise your own frequency.
“Food is also a living entity and also has its own vibration. Some foods have none and will stand to attention for an eternity at the back of the cupboard or on top of the shelf, and some could literally walk out off the ground!”
Which foods have high vibration?
If you have tried every trick in the book and still can’t manage to cheer yourself up, feel better about your body, or maybe even shift a few pounds, this rule might be what you need.
Hannah said: “Foods that have a high vibration will assist detoxification in the body where as low vibrational foods can create a toxicity build up that not only effects the health of your cells but can effect your mental health too.
“For example, an organic apple still on the tree would have a higher vibration than an apple flown in from Italy pre chopped and bagged.
“The closer the food to the source, the closer you are to the source, and the more vibration the food holds.
“Compare your tin of fish to the fish you catch on a boat. You catch the fish, gut, scale and grill the fish as opposed to eating a fillet of a fish from a tin in oil thats been on your shelf for 3 years. Is simple science really.”
Hannah’s list of high vibrational food is lengthy, so you won’t be stuck for choice.
All foods on the list, she said, are connected to the ground, organic, seasonal and local.
They also should have been in direct sunlight.
As a guide, if it has been heated, treated, bleached, pumped, and washed in chemicals, pesticides, fertilisers, it has a low vibration.
The same goes for food that has been coloured, or flow half way across the world.
If you start eating high vibrational foods, you will raise your frequency and your mood will improve.
Her list of high vibrational foods includes:
- Fresh organic fruits and vegetables
- Dark leafy greens
- Fresh pressed green juice
- Pure clean water
- Raw nuts & seeds
- Coconut
- Raw organic dairy products
- Free range eggs
- Wild fish
- Raw oils like extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil
- Sea vegetation
- Raw honey and maple syrup
- Fermented foods
- Sprouted foods
- Spirulina
- Herbs & Spices
- Herbal teas
- Raw chocolate
- Legumes
- Grains such as buckwheat, brown rice, amaranth, and spelt
Examples of lower vibrational foods are:
- Alcohol
- Deep fried food
- Fast food
- Frozen food
- Processed meats
- Pasteurised dairy
- Canned foods
- Pre chopped foods
- Packaged foods
