If you needed any more proof that Iskra Lawrence is a woman after our own hearts, this is definitely it.
Not only is she making waves as a “curvy” international model and actively championing the body positive movement, she’s doing it with a no-holds-barred attitude. And. We. Dig. It.
At the SAG Awards in LA recently, the 27-year-old took to the red carpet in a black gown with a side split to the hip, proudly showing off her pins.
Obviously, she looked incredible. But it was her Instagram caption that really got people talking.
“Cell-u-LIT up the red carpet last night,” she captioned a shot from the event, which has since been liked nearly 580,000 times.
Hundreds of fans commented on the post, praising her for keeping it real.
“Plus size… I’d say she’s the right size! Beautiful!” one user wrote.
“Show them how it’s done… You are empowering so many women!” added another.
Alongside a second pic, the Brit thanked her glam squad and admitted the team had ventured out for “post red carpet burgers.”
But this isn’t the first time Iskra’s been outspoken about embracing her imperfections (and her obsession with carbs).

At London Fashion Week, she slammed the industry’s beauty standards for being unattainable.
“The whole concept of Photoshop is an illusion,” she said. “They’re not flaws. They’re part of your body. We were just convinced by society and the media that there was something wrong with them.”
Yup, it’s official: we’re in love.
