Jennifer Lopez has started off 2021 with a bang. Not only has she been hitting the gym with the same fierceness as 2020, but the 51-year-old pop icon is already showing off her insanely fit bod in the new music video for her song “In The Morning.” In one part, a nearly-nude J.Lo looks insanely toned from head to toe, leaving little to the imagination.
The “Pa’Ti” singer posted the full video on Triller, a new social video app, but gave her fans a peek on Instagram. In the video, she transforms into different ethereal creatures, like a mermaid and an angel, all while showing off her seriously sculpted abs and booty.
“And she loved a boy even more than she loved herself … 🧚🏽♂️ I am soooo excited for you to see the official video for #InTheMorning ☀️☀️,” the songstress captioned the video.
She then went on to share more about the video’s meaning, and also wrote an inspiring message to her fans. “It’s full of symbolism about a dark one-sided relationship and the realization that you can’t change anyone else … you can only change yourself!!! Grow your own wings and walk away from anyone or anything that doesn’t truly value all you have to offer. 💚💙🧡💜,” J.Lo wrote.

So, how does the Marry Me star stay so fit and fierce AF? Well, to get those six-pack abs, she does a seriously intense circuit. Her trainer, Dodd Romero, shared with O, the Oprah Magazine in 2019 that the circuit features a set of 50 hanging ab raises, followed by 50 rope crunches, and 50 incline sit ups with a 45-pound plate. J.Lo follows that up with a second set of 35 each, and then comes in hot with a third set of 21 each. And she doesn’t take breaks in between. Phew.
For her booty, the “Lonely” singer also works with celebrity trainer David Kirsch. “When Jennifer comes in we do a 30- to 45-minute workout,” he told Insider. “The quickest, most effective workout for your butt is the platypus walk,” he added, because it lifts and tones the butt and works the inner thighs.
And she is also a fan of lifting. In 2019, she showed herself casually leg pressing nearly 300 pounds 10 times in an Instagram video. Whoa.
