Elizabeth Hurley, 56, doesn’t need a beach to look amazing in a bikini. The actress has been posting all kinds of summery swimsuit pictures on her Instagram, all from her own backyard. Now, she’s showing off her washboard abs in a brand new topless bikini post.
“Having my own staycation… in my own home 🤷🏻♀️😘,” she captioned the photo. She looks seriously sculpted. At 56, Liz has never looked better or stronger.
Fans basically fell all over themselves in the comments. “Fabulous✨🤍,” one user wrote. “Like a fine wine, only gets better with age🔥😍❤️,” someone else said—and it’s really, really hard to argue with that!

So, how does Liz stay in such amazing shape? For one, her health “secret” is actually pretty simple: “Making more time for exercise, eating nutritious foods, and taking the time to do relaxing activities.”
As for her workouts, Liz isn’t big on hitting the gym. “I do a lot of exercise, but it’s really the gardening,” she told Extra. “Cutting down a hedge, using my chainsaw to cut down a tree, logging, all of that stuff I do. So, I’m very active.”
All that gardening also comes in handy when Liz is thinking about her diet. “I like simple, natural, easy food. I don’t really like food with a lot of chemicals or additives,” she told The Cut. “All through summer we eat fruit and vegetables from my own garden. I used to have a small organic farm, and all the meat my son ate was from the farm. Obviously that’s not possible for most people, but supporting local farmers wherever you live is a good thing.”
Liz is also big on hydration. Every morning, she starts her day with two mugs of warm water. “It tastes fairly disgusting,” she told Daily Mail UK. “But it’s fantastic for your digestive system.” She also carries a water bottle with her everywhere she goes to help her remember to stay hydrated.
Liz is a big believer in approaching her health from the inside out. After spending a few days at VIVAMAYR, a health spa in Austria, she says she noticed some big improvements: “VIVAMAYR taught me to relax. I learned to sit still, put my phone down, and enjoy my food.” she says. “My digestion has improved since I followed that advice.”
So that’s where her ageless glow comes from!
