PARIS — Mehdi Lisi has been appointed vice president, fine fragrance creative development center at Firmenich Paris.
“In this capacity, Mehdi is responsible for driving excellence in fragrance evaluation, consumer insights, technical development and marketing for the fine fragrance department in the Paris office,” the Geneva-based fragrance and flavors supplier said in a statement.
The executive also steers global alignment of fine fragrance marketing and consumer insights at Firmenich.
Lisi formerly worked at IFF, in Paris and New York, in positions such as L’Oréal global account director and senior global account executive, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Lisi had already served as prospective fragrance development manager at Firmenich, between 2002 and 2004. He received a master of science degree in management from ESSEC Business School.
“Mehdi brings a unique perspective with a solid track record in creative, marketing and sales, as well as strong knowledge of both the French and American markets,” said Armand de Villoutreys, president, perfumery and ingredients, in a statement.
