Belinda is ready to find her new family in the tri-state area! She’s been known to fall head over heels for her human pals and can often be found following her foster around the house. She’ll be your biggest supporter, so her lips are sealed when it comes to how often you forget where you left your keys, the way you dance or other silly things around the house—so long as you remember where her favorite toys are! She especially loves her stuffed crocodile—can you tell?
Belinda can be a little nervous outside but will happily turn to you for guidance on scary stuff and go on long sniffy walks where she can explore. She’s also more than capable of entertaining herself by playing fetch with her plush toys or zooming around.
Belinda’s foster reports she continues to do well with training, is food-motivated and loves to learn. She’s a young pup looking for a patient adopter with experience with dogs on the shyer side, that reside in a quieter area and are willing to work on her courage and social skills. She also may be potty trained but will need supervision as she settles into a new space!
Because the outdoors can be a bit scary for Belinda, she would do best in a low-traffic, quiet area or outside of New York City. The suburbs would be ideal for this sweet girl. Children might be new for her and she can be a bit shy around other dogs. But an ASPCA Matchmaker can better help you explore if Belinda is the match you’re looking for!
