It shows a woman testing out a new "cupping system" that works to aid menstrual pains on areas of the body such as the legs and back.

Speaking in the video, the presenter said: "So, I develop period pain relief for a living, and we're working on developing this new product which is an at-home cupping system.

"I get really bad leg pain, so I've been using it right here.

"I also use it on my back, and I am telling you I cannot believe how effective these are."

In the comments the process has been compared to myofascial cupping, which is a soft tissue therapy whereby decompressed cups are applied to the skin to create a vacuum effect that raises underlying tissues such as the fascia (connective tissue) to bring it closer to the surface of the skin.

When someone suggested it's a therapy that can already be done at home, getsomedays replied: "Absolutely. We're just testing it for period pain specifically and working on making them easy to use."

Many people have said they're looking forward to seeing how the product develops, with people admitting they experience bad pain around their thighs during the time of the month.

The video demonstration has also achieved over 18,000 likes on the social media platform.

One person said: "Interesting. My period is always in my back and down my sciatic nerves."

A second added: "Oh my God. I need these for the outrageous thigh pain."

Meanwhile, a third commented: "I get it really bad down the inside of my thighs – like I can't even walk!

"I'd love to try this."

A fourth also gave the concept utmost praise, adding: "Omg this would save my life."
