Jessica Simpson, 39, soaked in some rays over the weekend, and she’s never looked fitter. In her latest Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself in a bikini suntanning while laying on a float in the middle of her pool—and her abs look super toned.
“Attempted gettin’ some sun and my son smacked a homerun from the driveway that almost nailed me in the face. Proof is in the splash. Needless to say, I got off the mat 😂,” she captioned her post.

Her personal trainer Harley Pasternak commented, “🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
“BODY goals!,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “You look amazing!!!! 💜😘”
ICYDK, Jessica shared that she lost 100 pounds after giving birth to her third baby, Birdie Mae, with the help of her trainer, Harley Pasternak and Sydney Liebes.
Pasternak eased Jessica into activity slowly, starting with walking 6,000 steps daily. “It’s a social thing that she can do with her kids,” he explained. Slowly, she built up to 14,000 steps, according to E News.
And Liebes shared that Jess completed 45-minute workout sessions three days a week.
“You have worked your ass off and the reward is priceless!” Sydney shared in a congratulatory Instagram post. “I’ve been training for 10 years now and I have never been more excited for a client transformation.”
As for diet, Jessica followed Pasternak’s Body Reset Diet, which allows for three meals and two snacks each day. Each meal includes protein, fiber, and fat, while snacks are a combo of protein and fiber or protein and fat.
And Jessica shared with People in July 2019, “I am eating healthy, too—I discovered I really like cauliflower. Who knew it could be a substitute for almost anything?!”
