Monique Lhuillier Plots Beauty Debut

The Premiere Group has signed a multiyear beauty license with Monique Lhuillier.
Together, the pair have plans to launch fragrance products in 2020, followed by makeup.
In a statement, Lhuillier said her goal is to make women feel "feminine, confident and glamorous," and that "launching a worldwide beauty business will further expand our footprint by touching more consumers."
For its part, the Premiere Group said it plans for the Monique Lhuillier brand to be the "crown jewel" of its fragrance portfolio. Right now, the company's other licenses include Derek Lam, Mercedes-Benz Parfums and Fila. The company recently exited the Kate Spade beauty business — that license was picked up by Inter Parfums in early June.
The Premiere Group is a subsidiary of the Perfume Center of America, which handles marketing and sales distribution.
