J.Lo And A-Rod's Fitness Routine Is Peak Couple Goals

J.Lo’s been in ridiculous shape since practically forever (flashback to the ‘I’m real’ film clip circa 2001.)

But since shacking up with her fiancé A.Rod, the singer has taken her sweat sessions to the next level. Need proof? Just check out the at-home workout the couple just share on Insta (which, btw, looks equal part adorable and ouch-inducing.)

“A new kind of ‘home run’ for me ????” the former pro baseballer captioned the clip. Who do you think crushed this #QuaranTeam workout?”

Worth noting: all these moves are kid-friendly (even A.Rod’s daughters Natasha and Ella joined in.) Plus, you don’t need gym equipment to feel a solid burn.

“You can use soup cans, detergent, anything at all instead of kettlebells!” he explained. “Let me know how it goes for you & stay safe!”

The video kicks off with A-Rod sharing the specifics on his iPad:

  • 400metre run
  • 15 kettlebell swings
  • 10 push-ups
  • 15 over-shoulders
  • 15 bent over rows

The camera then cuts to the famous fam sprinting through their (giant) property as “The Warrior” plays in the background. “Don’t go crazy,” A.Rod calls out from his position at the front of the pack.

Next up? Rounds two, three and four, featuring J.Lo looking fresh AF. It’s not surprising considering her usual training regime is pretty darn gruelling.

Speaking to O, the Oprah Magazine, her PT Dodd Romero shared that on any given day the 50-year-old does a set of 50 hanging ab raises, then 50 rope crunches and 50 incline sit-ups while holding a weight plate. She follows this up with 35 reps of each move, before finishing up with 21 more. What’s more impressive? She does all this without taking a break. What a woman.  

Her nonchalance aside, we’re all for the simultaneous bonding and burning cals. Keep up with the cuteness, you guys.
