Anastasia Beverly Hills Just Sneakily Announced MAJOR News About This Controversial Palette

In the midst of all the excitement around the upcoming Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Palette launch, the beauty brand has some bad news. The Subculture Palette is due to be discontinued.

Anastasia Beverly Hills sneakily shared this unfortunate piece of information on Instagram. As the MakeupAddiction subreddit points out, someone commented on one of the brand's posts, "Is Subculture being discontinued?" Anastasia Beverly Hills replied, "Eventually yes to make room for new items."

Considering the Subculture Palette was surrounded in controversy prior to even being released, many people commented that they weren't surprised by this news. Some have even spotted the palette at Marshall's. Others are worried that other palettes like the beloved Modern Renaissance will be on the chopping block soon, too. (Anastasia Beverly Hills hasn't responded to those comments, though, so don't worry about stocking up on Modern Renaissance just yet.)

The Subculture Palette's cool-toned color scheme — complete with a mossy green, teal, and mustard — has stood out among warm-toned palettes filled with reds and oranges, so it's sure to be missed. We look forward to seeing the new palettes Anastasia Beverly Hills has in store for us, though.

An official last call for the Subculture Palette has been announced yet, but we reached out to to Anastasia Beverly Hills for more information and will update this post when we know more. In the meantime, you can still shop it while you can on sephora.com for $42. And once it's unavailable, you can still shop Bad Habit's $10 dupe.
