Selma Blair Had The Best Response To An Instagram Troll Who Criticized Her Shaved Head

  • Selma Blair clapped back at an Instagram troll who said she had “the most bizarre hairline I’ve ever seen.”
  • Selma simply replied, “That is true,” clearly owning her recently shaved head.
  • The actress shaved her head this summer during treatment for multiple sclerosis.

This summer, Selma Blair revealed that she had shaved her head during treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS). Since then, she’s totally owned her new look and even poked fun at it, comparing herself to Pitbull and sharing pics of her “peach fuzz” on Insta. Well, Selma just shared a fierce new portrait of herself on Instagram, and she had the best response to someone who criticized her hairline.

“I was the first celebrity he shot. I love his work. I love that I can stand bald and 30 pounds heavier today than that first shoot almost 20 years ago,” Selma wrote in the caption of her Instagram. “I love that he can still see the intensity in my eyes with the first click. He makes me feel like I can be. And he makes it look so damn strong. @brianbowensmith I love you.”

While plenty of people talked about how beautiful she looks in the dramatic black and white photo, one commenter remarked that Selma has “the most bizarre hairline I’ve ever seen.” Despite how unnecessary that was, Selma simply replied with this classy comeback: “That is true.” Clearly, she’s owning her new look—and wants everyone to know it.

Selma didn’t seem bothered by the whole thing, but plenty of followers leaped to her defense. “I’ve actually always loved your hair line!” one said. “Didn’t sound very nice to me,” another commented, while someone else wrote, “Gosh! Be a little more delicate next time, that is free.”

Selma seems to have no issue poking fun of herself—or her facial features. In addition to all of her bald head jokes, she recently noted that she has a “tiny forehead” while sharing a pic on Instagram of herself in a cool-looking face mask.

You keep doing you, Selma.
